Course Description |
Secure2 has been built to train all staff whether they are Management, Accounting or IT Personnel in the importance of information security in the workplace It has been designed to teach the end user staff information to get a first hand insight into the world of security in a condensed intensive 3-day course. Students will learn Security Management Practices including the latest laws and acts affecting their workplace. The course also introduces Penetration Testing techniques and how hackers operate including wireless hacking Social Engineering. This is achieved by using Mile2 proven hands-on Penetration Testing methodologies as utilized by Mile2’s international group of specialized consultants. Computer Forensics training is also features in the course to teach end users not to interfere a scene of the crime and how to preserve the crime scene. Secure2 graduates will obtain real world security knowledge that will help them recognize vulnerabilities, expose system weaknesses and help safeguard against threats. Graduates will able to put Information Security Management into practice including Policy and Standards Framework design. Graduate will learn the basics Ethical Hacking and see life demonstrations o the latest Operating System and network appliances. These skills will assist the Secure2 graduate in the protecting his or her workplace from security threats. |

Laboratory Scenario – The objectives is to provide students with “hand on” and get to use the tools and run exploits under the control of the instructor in a restricted test environment.
This is an intensive hands-on class; the latest tools and techniques methods will be taught. The laboratories also include real world attacks on wireless networks, social engineering, Internet servers and routers. The laboratories will also show the students root kit installation and detection on how viruses and worm spread.
