STUDENT AID

Student Aid is part of the student support services within the Registry Department at Bostonweb College. Not only we provide general information about funding, we also help students to apply for the funding.

We help you to apply for the following funds: Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), and various trust funds and scholarships. This Aid is only available for Malaysians.

Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)

This fund provides loans to all qualified Malaysian students pursuing higher education in public or private higher educational institutions. Applicants must have at least 3 credits in SPM in order to qualify for the loan.

HOSTEL

RM 150 per month for 30 months effective from the admission date.

REQUIREMENT

Pass SPM with minimum of 3 credits in any subject

Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)

MARA offers study loans to qualified Bumiputra students studying at our college. The loans may be convertible to scholarships for high achievers.


ALLOWANCE

RM 300 per month during first semester
( This allowance is an advance from the college which will be deducted from the first cheque from MARA)

HOSTEL

RM 150 per month during first semester ( This allowance is an advance from the college which will be deducted from the first cheque from MARA)

REQUIREMENT

Pass SPM with 5 credits including Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, one (1) of science subject and two (2) other subjects, plus a pass in English Language

Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO or SOCSO)

PERKESO, the national social security organization (SOCSO), was set up in 1971 to provide medical care, cash benefits, provision of artificial aids and rehabilitation to certain categories of employees for work-related diseases and injuries. SOCSO has ensured universal coverage of employees through the principle of co-operation with employees and employers.

The organization also provides study loans to children of employees who are covered by the SOCSO scheme. The loans may be convertible to scholarships. For further information, students are advised to contact our career consultant.

Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) / Employees Provident Fund (EPF)

Students whose parents are contributors to EPF may apply for study loans from EPF. Forms and conditions for applications can be obtained from all the EPF offices throughout the country, or from our college.
